Through our positive approach to teaching, we aim to make your equestrian experience thoroughly rewarding, for novice and experienced riders alike, we offer a highly personalised approach. We cater for all levels, and aim to put you where you want to be. If you are competing through the grades and mastering movements across all levels, from dressage, showing through to eventing, we can help. We cater for all disciplines including increasing fitness levels for your horse.

TRAINING WITH CHRISTINE

Firstly Christine likes to understand what you as a rider want to achieve. She will then work with you to help you understand what you’ll need to do to achieve your performance goals. Christine will spend time assessing any current limitations or barriers to performance for both horse and rider. Following this she will systematically use exercises and training routines to build the required strength, understanding and confidence to achieve the desired outcomes for you and your horse.

At all times Christine will ensure you as the rider understand where you are up to, why she is working with you the way she is and what the next steps for you are. Her down to earth style, honest communication and relaxed approach ensure that riders and horses, no matter what their previous experience, are able to learn, understand, experience progress and most importantly enjoy their dressage training!

BUYING A HORSE:

If you are looking for that special horse to join your team, Christine can help you view and access it’s potential to support you making a sound investment. Costs do vary for this service as travel time and accommodation may be required.

SELLING A HORSE

If you are looking to sell your horse discuss your options with Christine. Christine can work with you to improve your horses training at Strathfield Farm or help with presentation and competitive performances to support the sale.

We can design a package that works within your budget with a payment plan if necessary.
Normal rates are training/competition costs plus 10% of sale.

FULL LIVERY

Need some extra help? Send your horse to Christine for specialist training to help move to that next level of performance. We offer a full agistment package and training while you holiday. This is the total package that includes training, stabling, feed management and all aspects of care. Includes: daily performance feeds, hay (this excludes supplements). An individual stable and paddock.

$80 plus G.S.T per day and not stabled.

SPELLING

Daily basic feed, including hay (this excludes supplements).

$32 plus GST per day. (paddock)
$52 plus GST per day if stabled.

CAMPING AND STAYING FOR LESSONS

$10 plus GST per day

MARE/BREEDING SERVICES

Have your mare stay in relaxed surroundings while she gets put infoal, embryos taken or ICSI performed at Equibreed NZ. We offer agistment, transport to and from Equibreed for scans, insemination etc, along with any special needs your mare may have during her stay.

$32 per day + GST, Fed on Dunstan horse feed and includes Hay/Silage.
transport to Equibreed (added cost depending on the number of horses going)

COACHING - INDIVIDUAL SESSION

Get focused on achieving your training and competition goals! Christine will evaluate your horse by riding for the first session, then go on to design a program to support the desired goals. Lessons can be arranged at your place or ours, travel may involve extra charges. Each session involves 45 minutes of training.

$120 per lesson

CLINICS WITH CHRISTINE WEAL

Organise a clinic at your place. Christine will travel to you with a minimum of 5 booked participants depending on location. Training will support any disciplines. Clinic participants can be made up of riders from any discipline. Costs vary and are largely dependent on number of riders in each group and travel costs.
